Edwin "Penny" Neidert, 79, died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 1987, at Lawrenceburg Health Care Center after a brief illness.

He was retired from Neidert Casket Co., Loretto, and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with the Rev. John Baltz and deacon Sammy Beckman officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Loretto Memorial Chapel directing.

Rosary will be at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Neidert, Loretto; daughters, Peggy Moore, Pat Anderson, both of Loretto; stepdaughter, Jackie Hoskins, Las Vegas, Nev.; brother, Herbert Kluesner, St. Florian, Ala.; sisters, Stella Waltz, Lawrenceburg, Teresa Beckman, Loretto; grandchildren: step-grandchildren: great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
