Several attended the funeral of Mrs. John Hoffman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Morgenson of this place, at Racine, Thursday.
The funeral obsequies held last Thursday over the remains of Mrs. John Hoffman were impressive and largely attended by her many sorrowing friends of this place, which attested the high regard entertained by our people for this estimable woman. The services were held at the Baptist church of Racine and by Rev. Olson, whose words of hope and consolation were impressingly fitting for the solomnities of the occasion, at the close of which, interment was made at Mound cemetery.
The deceased was born April 12, 1890, in Raymond Center, this being her home until she was married to John Hoffman about three years ago. Since that time until the time of her death, May 13, 1912, she made her home in Racine.
She leaves a beloved husband and three step children and one son and a loving father and mother, two sisters and one brother to mourn loss.
