Mrs. Al Wieners, 40, died suddenly Sunday morning at her home at 681 Liberty street. Although, she had not been in good health for some time, Mrs. Wieners' final illness lasted only a week.
Mrs. Wieners, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hoffman, was born in Racine March 6, 1902. She became the bride of Al Wieners June 28, 1921, in Burlington. With the exception of short periods spent in Racine and Kenosha, Mr. and Mrs. Wieners spent their married this in this city.
Surviving are her husband, two children, Jean and Al Jr. at home; her father, John Hoffman, Honey Creek, and two sisters, Mrs. William Gutzman, Racine, and Mrs. Ernest Hertel, Waterford. Mrs. Wieners was a member of the Christian Mothers society of St. Mary's church, and members will gather at the McCarthy funeral home at 7:45 Tuesday evening, to pray the rosary.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a. m. Wednesday in St Mary's church. Rev. Edward Kersting will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph's cemetery, Lyons.
