Services for Elizabeth "Betty" Nuebel, 96, of 10402 E. Big Rock Road, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Catholic Church, Barclay Township, with burial in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Nuebel died Wednesday afternoon at St, Francis Hospital, Waterloo.

She was born Dec. 25, 1888, in Barclay Township, daughter of Henry and Jenny Burk Koester. She married Paul A. Nuebel on Feb. 11, 1915, in Barclay Township. He died Oct. 18, 1977.

Survivors include three sons, Paul and Robert, both of Dunkerton, and Leonard of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Bloes of Waterloo and Mrs. Betty Jane Manning of Plymouth, Minn.; and 22 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; she was preceded in death by a son, Vincent.

A Catholic Daughters of America rosary will be at 3 and a parish rosary at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Oppold Funeral Home, where friends may call after noon Friday.

Memorials may be made to the church.
