DUNKERTON
Paul Edward Nuebel Sr., 78, of rural Dunkerton, died at home Wednesday, Dec. 11, after a lengthy illness.
He was born Nov. 25, 1918, in Black Hawk County, son of Paul A. and Elizabeth Koester Nuebel. He married Rita Ann Felder on April 28, 1945, in Key West, Fla.
Mr. Nuebel farmed near Dunkerton for the past 50 years.
Survived by: his wife; four daughters, Rebecca Ann Sweeney of Independence, Margaret Joan Boren of Indianapolis, Lori Ann Falk of La Porte City and Mary Lynn Nuebel of Iowa City; four sons, Vincent of Dunkerton, Gregory of Bailey, Colo., Joseph of Fremont, Calif., and Paul E. Jr. of Mundelion, Ill.; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Leonard of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Robert of Dunkerton; and two sisters, Helen Bloes of Waterloo and Betty Jane Manning of Tucson, Ariz.
Preceded in death by: an infant brother, Vincent; and a grandson.
Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Catholic Church-Barclay, rural Dunkerton, with burial in the church cemetery. There will be no visitation, his body was cremated. White Funeral Home, Jesup, is in charge of arrangements.
