Mrs. Mary Ann Keegan, 44, 1401 Third St., South Sioux City, died Monday at a Sioux City hospital after a brief illness.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in South Sioux City. The Rev. James E. Fitzgerald will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery under direction of the Jack Becker Funeral Home. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today in the funeral home.
Mrs. Keegan, the former Mary Ann Irons, was born Sept. 28, 1936 in South Sioux City. She was raised in Elk Point, S.D., where she received her education. She married Kenneth Patrick Keegan Dec. 29, 1964 in South Sioux City. He died as a result of a truck accident June 12, 1980 in Montgomery City, Mo.
She had lived in Sibley, Iowa and Kansas City, Mo. for 16 years before moving to South Sioux City in 1980.
She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.
Survivors include one son, Mark, and one daughter, Marta, both at home; her mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Florence) Goins of South Sioux City; two brothers, Larry of Sioux City and John of Newport News, Va. and one sister, Mrs. Phyllis Lawrence of Elk Point.
