Rosary for Donald G. Salz, 48, a mining supply salesman for the Pratt - Gilbert Co., will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today in Green Acres Mortuary, 401 N, Hayden, Scottsdale.
Funeral Mass will be said at 9 a.m. tomorrow in St. Daniel Catholic Church, 1030 N. Hayden, Scottsdale. Burial will be in Green Acres Cemetery.
Mr. Salz, 1602 N. Sunset Drive, was killed in a plane crash Saturday 4 miles west of Castle Hot Springs. Born in Waterloo, Iowa, he came to Tempe six years ago from Dubuque, Iowa. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Carol; two sons, Andy and Greg; three daughters, Debbie, Donna and Mary Salz, all of Tempe; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Salz, a brother, Joseph and a sister, Annette Salz, all of Phoenix; and two sisters out of state.
