MONTROSE

Funeral services for Mrs. Lawrence (Freida) Kaskie, 82, will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Father Patrick O'Connor officiating.

Office of the Dead services will be 8 p.m. Friday at the church. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery, Alexandria, under the direction of the Kinsley Funeral Home, Salem.

Mrs. Kaskie was born Dec. 8, 1890 in Dubuque, Iowa, to Mr. and Mrs. Mat Kies and died Jan. 17 at a Sioux Falls hospital. In May of 1957 she married Lawrence Kaskie at Sioux Falls.

She lived all her married life in Montrose.

Survivors include, her widower, Lawrence; one sister, Mrs. Doris Jarding, Eugene, Ore., and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
