Evelyn (Koelsch) Rueb, 88, died on April 7, 2001 after a long illness. A long-time Oklahoma City resident, she was a graduate of St. Joseph's High School, where she met and married her husband of 46 years, George A. Rueb. Mrs. Rueb began her business career in the food brokerage business while taking time to raise two boys. Her last five working years were spent at the State of Oklahoma. Mrs. Rueb was an original member of St. Joseph's Parish and a founding member of St. Patrick's Church where she was a member of the Altar Society.
She is survived by her two sons, William G. of Pepper Pike, OH, Col. Randall W. USMCR (Retired) of Burke, VA; four grandchildren, Andrew Y. and Emily S. of Boston, MA, W. Avery of Paris, France, and George R. of Burke, VA, and a brother, Robert J. Koelsch of Oklahoma City.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Oklahoma Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, 6465 S. Yale, Suite 206, Tulsa, OK 74136-7804.
Visitation will start at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2001 at St. Joseph's Old Cathedral. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday. Interment to follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
