Martin F. Trebon Passes Away Here of Lingering Illness
Martin F. Trebon passed away at his home, 230 W. Vine street at 5:45 o'clock Sunday morning from a lingering illness.
Mr. Trebon was born in Fairbank, Iowa, October 8, 1865. He was married to Susan Tschanhanz on May 4, 1898, at Independence, Iowa, and to them nine children were born, all of whem survive with the exception of one son who preceded him in death in 1933. Surviving are his wife, five daughters and two sons, Mildred, Adella, Mrs. Ray Olson, Mrs. Louis Gettler, all of this city; Mrs. Darwin Badger, Eau Claire; Raphael of the city and Bernard of Muskegon, Mich. Also surviving are three sisters and one brother.
The remains will lie in state at the LaFania Funeral Home from this evening until Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock when they will be taken to the residence. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock from Holy Ghost church with Father A.J. Favre, C.S. Sp., officiating. Interment will be made in Calvary cemetery.
