A retired farmer, Arthur R. Trebon, 94, died Friday at his home in Jesup. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Athanasius Catholic Church in Jesup with burial in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Fairbank.
Friends may call anytime at the Parker Funeral Home in Jesup where there will be a rosary at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, a parish rosary at 3 p.m. Sunday and scripture service at 8 p.m. Sunday.
Survivors include four sons, Al Trebon, Tucson, Ariz., Paul Trebon, Jesup, Robert Trebon, Fairbank, and Arthur Trebon Jr., Waterloo; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Damaris) Marsch, Waterloo; 27 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Wednesday morning at 8 o'clock in the Catholic church Miss Gertrude Duffy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Duffy and Mr. Arthur Trebon, son of Mr and Mrs. Rufus Trebon, were united in marriage. Miss Rose Zewiske and Vincent Duffy were chosen to stand up with them. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Donahue of Fairbank assisted by Rev. O'CSonnor of Oelwein and Rev. Malloy of Ryan. They will go to housekeeping on a farm south of town.

The golden wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Trebon will be celebrated next Sunday. There will be a High Mass at 10. a. m. in St. Alhanasius Catholic Church. A family dinner at Knights of Columbus Hall, Oelwein, will precede an "open house" 'from 3 to 5 p. m. The former Miss Gertrude Duffy became the bride of Mr. Trebon. April 16, 1913, in Immaculate Conception Church, Fairbank. Before retiring, they were engaged in farming. The couple has six living children: Robert and Dale, Fairbank: Al, Chelsea; Arthur Jr., Waterloo; Mrs. Robert Marsch, Cedar Falls; and Paul. A son, Francis, is deceased. There are 21 grand-children.
