PRETTY MORNING WEDDING.

A very pretty wedding took place yesterday morning at 6 o'clock in St. Joseph's Catholic church, when Miss Evalyn Anita Briick and Mr. Thomas Gregory Torpey were united in marriage. Father Cooney performed the ceremony, the beautiful ring service being used. The bridal party entered the church to the strains of Lohengrin's "Wedding March," played by Mrs. W. C. Brennan. The bride was given away by her brother. Her sister, Mrs. George L. Smale, of Chicago sang "With You" during the service. The bride, who looked very charming in a blue gown trimmed with valenciennes lace, was attended by Miss Mayme Witry, who was dressed in white silk and carried the bridal bouquet of bride's roses. The groom was attended by Mr. Antone Wangler as best man. After the service the bridal party and guests were driven to the home of the bride's mother on Independence avenue, where a sumptuous wedding breakfast was served. At its close a number of informal toasts were given, Miss Maye Briick of Chicago acting as the toastmistress. The rooms were beautifully decorated with ferns, oak leaves and golden rod and the relatives and friends had a very happy time together. The bride is an accomplished young lady, who has made many friends during her residence here. The groom has been an employee of Wangler Bros. Drug company for several years and is a very fine young man. Their many friends will wish them long life and happiness. They left over the Illinois Central for Chicago and other points for their honeymoon.
