Michael A. Knoll of Independence, a former resident ot Fairbank, died Saturday morning from complications after eight years of invalidism. Funeral services were held Monday morning at Fairbank in the Immaculate Conception church. Rev. Father W. J. Torpey officiated. Burial was in tbe Fairbank Catholic cemetery.
Mr. Knoll was 50 years of age. He was born on a farm southwest of Fairbank, and was a resident of Buchanan county all his life. He moved to Independence four years ago.
He is survived by his mother, two brothers, Harry Knoll and Paul Knoll of Independence, and two sisters, Mrs. Edward Ford of Wancoma, Iowa, and Mrs. Burt Hinman of Louisburg, Kansas.
