A former Waterloo resident, Mrs. Emma Snader, 73, passed away at the home of her niece in Ida Grove, Ia. Thursday morning.
Mrs. Snader was born near Quasqueton, Ia. on Jan 20, 1877.
She was the daughter of William and Amelia Wagner. She moved to Waterloo to find work and it was here she met her husband Oben Snader. The couple resided in Waterloo until the death of Mr. Snader about 1932. Mrs. Snader maintained her residence here until three years ago when she moved to Ida Grove to live with her niece.
She is survived by a brother, William Wagner of Dunkerton, Ia.; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Foster, 143 Harlan court, and Mrs. Nettie Alcorn of Philadelphia, Pa., and a brother-in-law, William Reid, 128 Block Street. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and nine sisters. The body is being shipped from Ida Grove to O'Keefe & Towne funeral home. No arrangements have been made for the funeral.
