ESCHEN-RENZ.
Miss Hattie Eschen, of Lamont, and John A. Renz, of Dunkerton, were married Sunday morning at 10 o'clock at the home of the groom's brother, Herman Renz, 237 Center street, Rev. E. J. Lang officiated. The couple will live in Dunkerton where the groom follows the contracting business.

JOHN RENZ.
John Renz, 62, Dunkerton, Ia., died at 1:15 p. m. Tuesday in Allen Memorial hospital, where he had been a patient since Sunday.
Born Oct. 19, 1877, near Dunkerton, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Renz, John A. Renz became a building contractor in Dunkerton, and was engaged in that business for 40 years.
He had been in failing health for about a year.
Surviving are the widow, the former Miss Hattie Eschen of Lamont, whom he married in January, 1915; a son, Kenneth, Dunkerton; three daughters, Ruth, Esther and Mary, of Dunkerton; two brothers, Herman A. Renz, 2711 Fourth street east, assistant Waterloo postmaster, and Vernon, Dunkerton, and a sister, Mrs. Claude Lamb of Dunkerton.
The body was taken to O'Keefe & Towne funeral home.
