Farmer Is Stricken On Tractor
DUNKERTON
Vern F. Renz, 76, residing three miles east of here, died of a heart attack on a tractor while picking corn on his farm Tuesday afternoon. He resided on the same farm all his life.
He was born Feb. 27, 1886, in Dunkerton, a son of Michale and Ernestina Tribon Renz.
Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Claude B. Lamb, Dunkerton. He was preceded in death by parents, two brothers and a sister.
Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Friday at the Dunkerton First Baptist church. The Rev. Richard Milne, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in old Barclay cemetery.
The body will be taken Thursday noon from the Waterloo Chapel of Memories to the Dunkerton Chapel of Memories, where friends may call.
