Henry Trumbauer and Miss Cora Trumbauer were principals in a marriage that was solemnized at the county building yesterday at high noon. Rev. Theo. Wolfram, pastor of the German Lutheran church, officiated at the ceremony. Both of the young people are residents of Dunkerton, and will make their home near that place on a farm owned by the groom.

DUNKERTON
The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Trumbauer was observed Tuesday evening at dinner in their home.
Guests were from Jesup and Evansdale.
Mr. Trumbauer and the former Cora Trumbauer were married on Oct. 19, 1904, in Waterloo. They have spent all their married life in this community. They lived on a farm east of town until their retirement, when they moved to Dunkerton. Mr, Trumbauer is now a carpenter.
The couple has four children, Charles, Evansdale; the Rev. Paul Trumbauer, Bourbon, Ind.; the Rev. Clyde Trumbauer, Upland, Ind., now stationed as a chaplain on a ship in the Pacific area; and Gladys, at home. There are nine grandchildren.

Dunkerton Resident Dies At His Home
Henry A. Trumbauer, 71, lifetime resident of Dunkerton and community, died at his home Friday at 3 p. m.
Funeral services are pending at Brant funeral home in Oelwein.
Mr. Trumbauer, a retired farmer, is survived by his wife; three sons, Charles, Evansdale; Paul, Bourbon, Ind., and Clyde, Oakland, Calif., and a daughter, Gladys, at home.
Also four sisters, Mrs. Olive Rudolph, Dunkerton; Mrs. Beulah Leary, Dunkerton; Mrs. Ethel Coie, Jesup and Mabel Trumbauer, Heyavill, Md.
He was born Oct. 20, 1883, in Black Hawk county, the son of Daniel and Henrietta Tribon Trumbauer.
The body lies in state at Brant funeral home.
Burial will be in Fairview cemetery in Dunkerton.
