DUNKERTON
Last Friday at Marshalltown the marriage of Miss Ethel Trumbauer and Mr. Cole, Omaha, occurred. The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Trumbauer, and has been employed in Oelwein for several years. They will make their home at Omaha after the holidays, where the groom has a home all furnished.

Cedar Falls
Services for Ethel C. Cole, 92, of the Western Home, formerly of Jesup, will be 10 a.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church, Jesup, with burial in the Cedar Crest Cemetery, Jesup. She died Thursday of natural causes at the Western Home. She was born July 16, 1895, in Lester Township, Black Hawk County, the daughter of Joseph Daniel and Henrietta Tribon Trumbaur. She married Earnest Cole Dec. 16, 1921, in Marshalltown. He died in 1945. Survivors include a son, Leonard, of Lakewood, Colorado., four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, David M.; a brother, Henry Trumbaur and three sisters, Ollie Rudolph, Beulah Leary, and Mabel Trumbauer. Friends may call today at Parker Funeral Chapel, Jesup. Memorials may be made to the church.
