DUNKERTON
Last Friday at Marshalltown the marriage of Miss Ethel Trumbauer and Mr. Cole, Omaha, occurred. The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Trumbauer, and has been employed in Oelwein for several years. They will make their home at Omaha after the holidays, where the groom has a home all furnished.

Ernest O. Cole, 62, local trucker, suddenly Monday of a heart attack; born Jan. 22, 1883, at Kewanee, Ill., son of Joshua and Susan Cole; married Ethel Trumbauer of Dunkerton Dec. 16, 1921; member of the Methodist church here and was serving his second term as a member of the Jesup council; leaves widow, two sons, Leonard, quartermaster second class in the navigation division of the navy, at sea; Pvt. David, of the marines, Camp Pendleton, Cal.; a brother, Joseph, Broken Bow, Neb.; parents, four brothers and two sisters preceded him; body taken to the Parker funeral home.
Funeral services for Ernest C. Cole, 52, who died Monday at his home here, will be at 2:30 p. m. Monday at the Jesup Methodist church; burial in Cedar Crest cemetery; a son, Marine Pvt. David Cole, is en route here from Camp Pendleton, Cal.
