This week Dr. and Mrs. F. L. Tribon announced the marriage of their daughter, Dorothy, to Herman Leeftink of Mountain, Wisconsin, on Thursday of last week at the Tribon cottage on Algona Beach at Clear Lake. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Milne of the Congregational church of Clear Lake at eleven o'clock in the presence of the immediate family of the bride.
Miss Dorothy Tribon is well known in this community having been born and has lived practically all of her life here. She attended the local schools and was graduated from the Algona high school. Later she attended the Iowa State Teachers' College at Cedar Falls. For a year she was employed as a teacher in a school near Waterloo. During the last two years she has been the teacher of the Schultz school in Irvington township.
Mr. Leeftink was born in Holland and was educated in the schools there. A number of years ago he came to the United States and farmed with former friends who had settled near Waterloo. For the past two years he has been farming near Mountain, Wisconsin, where the young people expect to make their home.
After the reading of the service, a luncheon was served by the bride's mother. Soon after lunch, Mr. and Mrs. Leeftink departed in their car for their Wisconsin home.
