Dr. and Mrs. A. L. Tribon (above) will celebrate their golden wedding on Monday. They will have open house from 2 to 5 p. m. and 7 to 9 p. m. On Sunday they will be honored at a dinner in the Legion hall, Dunkerton. Friends and relatives have made the arrangements for a 1 o'clock dinner.
Mr. and Mrs. Tribon were married in Fairbank township by Rev. H. W. Luckensmeyer. They lived on their farm for six years, then moved to Dunkerton for eight years. The past 36 years they have lived in Independence where Dr. Tribon owned a feed barn and livery stable on the west side, which many years ago was converted into a dairy plant.
Dr. Tnbon practiced the veterinary profession for 50 years and is still active.
Mrs. Tribon is active in politics, civic, church and lodge affairs.
