Charles E. Lampright, former Algona real estate man and father of Harold Lampright, Algona postoffice employee, died May 31 at a hospital in Mankato, Minn. He had been in the hospital about ten days, but in failing health for several months with a heart ailment.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Congregational church in Mankato with the Rev. L. Donald Bone in charge and burial was made in the Minneopa cemetery there.
Mr. Lampright was born Sept. 2, 1873, in Chicago. For a number of years he was in the real estate business here, moving to Mankato in 1920. He is survived by his wife and four sons, Harold, Algona, Charles Evans, in the army at Camp Custer, Mich., Gordon, Mankato, and Richard, Austin. There are also four grandchildren.
Attending the services from Algona were the son and wife and two grandsons, Bill and Bob. Mrs. Lampright's niece, Mrs. George Stewart, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Sigsbee, also Mr. and Claude Sigsbee of Burt.
