Mrs. Dargaczewski Is Dead Here at 85
Mrs. Anna Trebon Dargaczewski, 85, widow of Nicodemus (Nick) Dargaczewski known as the "Mayor of Sheeley," died Monday at her home, 2908 South Thirtieth Street. She and her husband were one of the first Polish families to come to Omaha, and Mrs. Dargaczewski was interpreter for most of those following. She was a charter member of Immaculate Conception Church.
Survivors: Daughters, Mrs. T. F. Buras, Misses Frances and Evelyn; sisters, Mrs. John Netzel, Misses Agnes and Susan Trebon; two grandchildren, all of Omaha.
Services will be held Thursday at 8:45 a. m. from Dworak-Chapuran Funeral Home to Immaculate Conception Church at 9:15. Burial will be at St. Mary Magdelene Cemetery.
On Wednesday members of St. Theresa's Lodge will meet at 7:30 p. m. and members of the Catholic Daughters of America will meet at 8 p. m., at the mortuary for recitation of the rosary.
