SANTA MARIA, March 31

Edward R. Trebon, 61, former newspaper publisher, died this morning at his home here. Mr. Trebon founded and published the weekly Courier here from 1938 to 1940 when he sold his interests to the Santa Barbara News Press. He was a past president of the Kiwanis Club. He leaves his widow Ethyl, a son Paul of Santa Maria and a daugter Mary of Los Angeles.
