Mrs. Herman Trebon, 69, resident of Buchanan county 55 years, at People's hospital here Sunday after three years of invalidism; had been at the hospital five weeks; funeral at the Swan Funeral Home Tuesday at 3 p. m.; burial in the cemetery at Littleton; nee Agusta Imme, born in Poland, July 16, 1872, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Imme; came to this country 55 years ago with her parents, they locating in the vicinity of Littleton; married to Herman Trebon, Sept. 17, 1890; celebrated golden wedding anniversary here two years ago; lived on a farm near Littleton until they retired from the farm and came to Independence seven years ago; leaves husband, three daughters, Mrs. I. G. Kruse, Mrs. O. S. Miller, Waterloo; Miss Minnie Trebon, Independence; two sons, Elmer Trebon, Fairbank; Ervin Trebon, Waterloo; one stepson, Edward Trebon, St. Marie, Cal.; two brothers, Emil Imme, Albert Lea, Minn.; William Imme Holton, Wis.; six grandchildren.
