INDEPENDENCE
Funeral services will be Friday for Mrs. Emma Trebon, 76, of Independence, who died Tuesday at a hospital here. She had been ill for several years.
She was born in 1876 at Green Lake County, Wis., the daughter of Ernest and Minnie Beiers Sasse. She was married to Gaige Saunders, Apr. 25, 1905. He died Feb. 8, 1918. She later married William F. Trebon who preceded her in death in 1937.
Surviving are two sons, Harold G. Saunders, Independence, and Theodore K. Saunders, Flint, Mich.; two brothers, Julius Sasse, Jesup; two sisters, Mrs. Agusta Zummack, Fairbank, and Mrs. Charles Rohde, Nauvoo, Ill.; two step-daughters, Mrs. Floyd Smith, Oatisville, Mich., and Mrs. Gus Trottier, Milwaukee; a stepson, Hubert Trebon, Milwaukee; five grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church here with burial at Littleton Cemetery. The body will be at the Swan Funeral Home until time for services.
