Buchanan Train Victim's Funeral to Be Wednesday
Independence, Ia.
Funeral services for Mrs. Ed Williamson, who was instantly killed when struck by an Illinois Central train Sunday, have been set for 2 p. m. Wednesday, at the Swan funeral home. Rev. Gerhard Bunge, pastor of Immanuel Lutheran church, will officiate. Burial will be in Wilson cemetery two miles east of Independence.
The daughter of Rhinehart and Emma Huebner Trebon, she was born in Buchanan county Dec. 10, 1895, and had spent her entire lifetime here.
She was married Aug. 29, 1926, to Edward Williamson, who with the following five sons, survive: Clark, Laverne, Roger, Beryl and Robert. Her father and a sister also survive.
She was preceded in death by her mother a number of years ago.
The family, former Independence residents, had made their home the past three years on a small acreage near the Doris siding, four miles east of Independence.
