Bohan-Beierschmitt Nuptials Read at St. Joseph's Church
The altar of St. Joseph's Catholic church decorated with ferns and baskets of roses formed the setting for the marriage of Miss Anna Bohan, daughter of Mrs. Anna Bohan, 429 Logan avenue, and Walter P. Beierschmitt, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Beierschmitt, Fairbank, which was solemnized at 7:30 a. m. Tuesday, with Rev. Fr. Edmund Slattery officiating.
Ralph Beierschmitt, brother of the bridegroom, sang "Mother at Your Feet I'm Kneeling," "Ave Maria" and "There Is No Heart Like Thine" during the mass. The bride wore a frock of wine colored transparent velvet and carried a bouquet of yellow roses and orchid sweetpeas. Miss Marcella Bohan, who served her sister as bridesmaid. was attired in brown transparent velvet. Her bouquet was of Ophelia roses. Ralph Welsh was best man.
Thirty persons attended the wedding breakfast at Hotel President, out-of-town guests being Mr. and Mrs. Prank Stecht and Miss Margaret Mansfield, all of Cherokee, and Mrs. Margaret Smith and daughter, May, Cedar Palls, Mr. and Mrs. Beierschmitt left for a wedding trip to Denver, Colo., and will be at home after Nov. 15 on a farm near Fairbank.
Mrs. Beierschmitt attended Cedar Falls high school and has been employed by Mid-continent Petroleum corporation. Mr. Beierschmitt, a graduate of Immaculate Conception school at Fairbank, attended Columbia college, Dubuque. He is engaged in farming.

Walter Beierschmitt Dies In Hospital, Funeral Thursday
FAIRBANK
Walter Beierschmitt, 54, died Tuesday morning in St. Francis hospital in Waterloo following a stroke suffered Saturday.
Funeral services have been arranged for Thursday morning at the Immaculate Conception church at 9:30 a. m. The body will lie in state at the Beierschmitt home today and until the hour of services. Rosary will be recited at 8 p. m. tonight.
Mr. Beierschmitt is survived by his wife Ann and two sons Paul and Leo.
