Thomas Keegan passed away on March 13, 2013 surrounded by family and friends. He was the son of Francis F. Keegan and Elizabeth A Whalen. He was born in Hawarden, Iowa,
Tom grew up in Sioux Falls and attended Cathedral High School and St. Francis Academy in Laconda, CA. He then served in the U.S. Army. He was a bar owner for twenty years.
Tom is survived by his son: Thomas J. Keegan; grandchildren: Armina, TJ and Aidan Keegan; a sister: Judith Keegan; and a brother-in-law: William Hess. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Terrance, Kevin, Daniel, Patrick and Michael Keegan; and a sister: Colleen Hess.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, 1:30 PM at the Sacred Heart Chapel in the Cathedral of St. Joseph with burial at St. Mary's Cemetery in Rock Valley, Iowa with Full Military Rites. An on-line registry is available at barnett-lewisfuneralhome.com.
