Bradley "Brad" Joseph Buzynski, 57, of Maynard, and formerly of Fairbank, died at his home following a lengthy illness on Friday, Feb. 28.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 6, at Woods Funeral Home in Fairbank, with Father James Brokman officiating. Interment will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery at Fairbank.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and after 9:30 a.m. Thursday.
Bradley Joseph was born May 28, 1956, at Oelwein, the son of Harold Joseph and Shirley Ann (Neith) Buzynski. He graduated from Wapsie Valley High School. He married Susan Ann Trebon Feb. 7, 1998, at Independence. Brad had previously worked at John Deere and then for Woods' Farms in Randalia. Most recently, Brad worked as a forklift operator at Tyson Foods from 2000-2011 until he was forced to retire for health reasons.
Survivors include his wife, Susy; his children, Ashley and Tyler of Maynard, Kara Happel of Readlyn, Ryan and Troy Buzynski of Waterloo; one granddaughter, Allie Happel; his mother Shirley Buzynski of Fairbank; three sisters, Cindy (Roger) Myers of Fairbank, Kelly (Bruce) Milbrandt of Eagle Lake, Minn., and Kim Buzynski of Fairbank; 5 brothers, Tom (Melaine), Mitch (Michelle) and Scott (Amy) Buzynski all of Fairbank, Mark (Dawn) Buzynski of West Des Moines and Pete (Lori) Buzynski of Tucson, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by his father; three sisters, Lynn, Lori and Debbie; 1 brother Michael, and a niece Bethany Buzynski, along with his paternal and maternal grandparents.
