Vincent Louis Richter, 41, of 3708 S. Glendale Ave., died Thursday at Sioux Valley Hospital of an apparent heart attack.
He was born April 28, 1941, in Sibley, Iowa, and married Faye Kapsch on Sept 15. 1962, in Emery, S.D. They moved Sioux Falls in 1963 He was a route supervisor for Pepsi Cola for 17 years and owner and manager of the western Mall Liquors for seven years. He was second vice president of the Sertoma Club.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Galen, and two daughters, Debra and Keila, at home; his mother, Mrs. Bernadette Richter, Emery; six brothers, Harold, Connie, Neb.; Arnold, Sioux Falls; Earl and Ralph, Omaha. Neb; Dale, Fair Oaks, Calif., and Rogers Emery, and one sister, Mary Richter, Omaha.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Christ the King Church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. today at the Barnett-Lewis Funeral Home. A scripture service will be at 1 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
