Funeral mass for Mrs. Kathryn Kotz, 88, will be held Monday, 10 a.m. in Christ the King Catholic Church, Presho, with Fathers William Lambert Ralph Muldoon officiating. Rosary will be Sunday, 8 pm., in Hofmeister Funeral Chapel.

Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery.

She will lie in state at the Chapel Saturday and Sunday.

Kathryn Kappenman was born March 27, 1884, at Dolton the daughter of Charles and Mary Kappenman. She died Thursday morning in a Mitchell hospital. On June 3, 1902, she married Henry Kotz at Bridgewater, and they moved to a homestead south of Presho where they lived until 1953 when they moved into Presho. Mrs. Kotz moved to the Grady Memorial Home in Mitchell in 1968. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1956, one son and one

daughter.

She is survived by four daughters, Sister Austin Kotz of Mitchell, Mrs. Ralph Frances Reginnetter of Vivian, Mrs. Fred Cecelia Bechtold of Belgrade, Minn., Mrs. Tommy Margaret Thompson of Tillton, Iowa; four sons, Roy of Presho, Bernard of Davenport, Iowa, Joseph of Bellgrade, Minn., Al of Davenport, Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. Vince Kaskie of Mitchell, Mrs. Charles Flynn of Sioux Falls; two brothers, Louis Kappenman and Leo Kappenman both of Sioux Falls; 34 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren.
