Helen Richter, 71, 330 S Chicago, died Friday.

Helen Kotz was born Sept. 27, 1913, in Dolton. She grew up and attended schools in the Bridgewater area. She moved to Sioux Falls in 1935. She married Roy Richter Feb 21, 1943, in Fort Knox, Ky., and the couple made their home in Sioux Falls. She was a member of St. Lambert's Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of America. Her husband died April 5, 1972.

Survivors include a daughter. Mrs. James (Connie) Beumer. Sioux Falls; three grandchildren a brother, Leo Kotz, Sioux Fa1ls; and two sisters Mrs. Frances DeBoer El Monte, Calif., and Mrs. (Clara) Schulz, Sioux Falls.

Scripture service will begin at 7 p.m. today in St. Lambert's Catholic Church.

Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday in St. Lambert's with burial in St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery.

Visiting hours will begin at noon today in the George Boom Funeral Chapel.
