Eleanora Sutter, daughter of Noah and Maggie (Fettig) Sutter, was born May 4, 1917, in Marion, SD. She grew up and received her education there.
As young women, she moved to Sioux Falls and worked various jobs. She then moved with her sister's family to Lake Benton where she worked as a telephone operator. She later returned to Sioux Falls where she worked as a waitress.
On September 16, 1945, she was united in marriage to Leo Kotz in Sioux Falls. The couple made their home in Sioux Falls where Eleanora worked at Manchester Biscuit Company. After the company closed, she began working at Getten's Grocery Store at 26th and Western Avenue where she worked for over 32 years. After retiring in the 1980's, she worked as a housekeeper. Leo preceded her in death in 1997.
Grateful for having shared her life are many nieces and nephews. Her parents; brothers, Bob, Ernie and Kenneth; and a sister, Marguerite; also preceded her in death.

Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m.Sunday with the family present from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home, 13th & Main.
