FAIRBANK
Wilma M. Yeager, 92, of Fairbank, died Wednesday, Jan. 7, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo, of natural causes.
She was born Feb. 19, 1916, in Fairbank, daughter of Walter and Lona Chase Kerns. She married Glenn Yeager on Nov. 24, 1936. He preceded her in death.
Survived by: five daughters, Carol Wilson of Cedar Falls and Glenda (Donald) Brandt, Donna (David) Trimble, Dorothy Yeager and Susan Vilmain, all of Fairbank; a son, Gordie of Fairbank; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; a brother, Duane (Verna) Kerns of Westgate; three sisters, Dorothy (Duane) Ford of Oelwein, and Daphine Rourke and Catherine Weber, both of Fairbank; and two sisters in-laws, Madeline Kerns and Ruth Kerns, both of Fairbank
Preceded in death by: an infant son, Walter; a daughter, Bea Thompson; three brothers, John, Robert and Harold Kerns; and a sister in-law, Beverly Kerns.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Fairbank, with burial in the church cemetery. Public visitation from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Woods Funeral Home, Fairbank, with a 3:30 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. Scripture service.
