CEDAR FALLS
Catherine Lena Weber, 91, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, Jan. 7, at Sartori Memorial Hospital.
She was born Aug. 1, 1918, in Fairbank, daughter of Walter N. and Lona F. Chase Kerns. She married Rayburn Joseph Weber on May 23, 1945, in Fairbank. He died Dec. 14, 1970.
She graduated from Fairbank High School and was a seamstress at Hinson Mfg. Co. until her retirement.
Survived by: a son, Tim (Kellie) of Waterloo; two grandchildren, Jason Miller and Sarah Pfeffer; three great-grandchildren, Cael, Carly and Cormack Pfeffer; a brother, Duane (Verna) Kerns of Westgate; and two sisters, Daphine Rourke of Fairbank and Dorothy Ford of Oelwein.
Preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; a daughter, Linda Miller; a son, Tom; three brothers, John, Harold and Bob Kerns; and a sister, Wilma Yeager.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Waterloo, with burial at 1:30 p.m. in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Fairbank. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary, and for an hour before services Monday at the church.
