Glenn Yeager, son of Joe and Blanche Alcorn Yeager, was born at Waterloo Nov. 10, 1915.
On Nov. 24, 1936, he was united in marriage to Wilma Kerns. He spent his entire life in the Waterloo, Dunkerton and Fairbank area, having lived since March, 1948, in Fairbank. To this union eight children were born.
Mr. Yeager died at his home in Fairbank Monday, Feb. 24, at 11:45 p.m. at the age of 42. He had been in poor health for the past five years.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma; six daughters, Bea, Carol, Glenda, Donna, Dorothy and Susan, and one son, Gordon, all at home. His parents at Dunkerton also survive.
He was preceded in death by one son and two sisters, Beatrice and Mrs. Erma Cowlishaw.
Funeral services were held from Immaculate Conception church on Thursday, Feb. 27, with the Rev. B. G. Collins officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
Casket bearers were Jim Kaufman, Robert Murphy, Don Steggall, Roberta Maricle, Earl Bellis and William Tinkey.
