CEDAR FALLS
Linda Rae Miller, 59, of Cedar Falls, formerly of Waterloo, died Monday, Sept. 4, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home, Waterloo, following an extended illness.
She was born Dec. 26, 1946, in Waterloo, daughter of Rayburn and Catherine Kerns Weber. She married Keith A. Miller in 1973 in Waterloo, and they later divorced.
Mrs. Miller graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1965. She resided in Waterloo until 1993 when she moved to Cedar Falls. Since 1983 she had worked for GMAC Mortgage, most recently in specialized servicing, and over the years she also worked part time at JC Penney Co.
Survivors include: a daughter, Sarah (Jonah) Pfeffer of Shakopee, Minn.; a son, Jason S. Miller of Waterloo; two grandchildren, Cael and Carly Pfeffer; her mother of Cedar Falls; and a brother, Tim D. (Kellie) Weber of Waterloo.
Preceded in death by: her father; and a brother, Tom Weber.
Services: 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Edward's Catholic Church, Waterloo, with burial at 11:30 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Fairbank. Public visitation 4 to 7 p.m. today at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, Waterloo, with a 7 p.m. Scripture service.

In her spare time she loved to bake and was known for her pumpkin bars. She also was very fond of her grandchildren, and they called her Grandma Turtle.
