Gus Trebon, 88, died Thursday at 3 p. m. at the Miller Rest home in Waterloo.
He was born Sept. 28, 1866, at Fairbank, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Trebon. He was a resident of the Fairbank community most of his life and was engaged in farming: until 1900, when he moved to Fairbank. He never married and had lived at the rest home the past year.
Only survivor is a sister, Mrs. Frank P. Berger of San Francisco, Calif.
Funeral services were held Monday at 9:30 at Immaculate Conception church. The Rev. Bernard Collins officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.
