ELIZABETH BEIERSCHMITT

 

Elizabeth Beierschmitt, daughter of Henry and Anna Trebon, was born Oct. 25, 1873, on a farm six miles south of Fairbank, and died May 22 at the home of her son, Walter.

On Feb. 21, 1894, she was married to John A. Beierschmitt, in the Immaculate Conception church at Fairbank by Father John Tobin. He preceded her in death April 18, 1938.

Seven children were born to this union, five of whom survive: Ralph and Neil of Jesup, Mrs. Dave P. Hedreen of Chicago, Mrs. H. R. Jamerson, Waterloo, and Walter of Fairbank. Two daughters, Annette, died March 26, 1917 and (Laurena) Sister Mary Annette, Dec. 13, 1945.

She is also survived by two brothers, Gus and Charles Trebon, Fairbank, and one sister, Mrs. Frank P. Berger of San Francisco, Calif., and ten grandchildren.

Funeral was held Friday, May 25, at Immaculate Conception church, Fairbank, Father B. G Collins officiating. Burial was in the Catholic cemetery. Pall bearers were Leo Paul and James Beierschmitt, Robert Jamerson and Lyle and Robert Welsh.
