Leland L. Merrill died at his home in Oklahoma on Friday, April 14, 1989, at the age of 67. He was born and raised in Wisconsin, where he lived until 1988 when he retired in Oklahoma. Mr. Merrill is survived by his mother, Laura Merrill; his sister, Elaine; and his children, Jimmy, Linda, Robin, Jackie, Pace, Lyla, Jo, Kristi, Lisa, and Patrick; and eight grandchildren. At the request of the deceased, cremation has been arranged without services. Memorial donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
