Henry B. Blomanhouse, 84, died at his home, 6425 Twelfth avenue, Thursday afternoon, following an illness of seven months.
He was born in East Troy, Wis., March 20, 1852, and came to Kenosha about 65 years ago and has lived here since that time. He was a carpenter by trade. His death is mourned by a legion of friends and relatives as he was held in high esteem by those who knew him.
The deceased, a member of St. James church, was also affiliated with the Heiss Court No. 159 Cathouc Order of Foresters.
Besides his widow, Mrs. Gertrude Blomanhouse, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Gust Zimmerman, a sister, Miss Josephine Blomanhouse, Racine, and by three grandchildren in Kenosha.
The body will be removed from the Mischler funeral home to the residence tomorrow. Funeral rites will be held Monday morning at 8:30 from the home and 9 o'clock at St. James church. Burial will be in the family plot in St. George cemetery.
