Age 87. Passed away on Saturday, November 24, 1984, at High Ridge Health Care Center. He was born in Burlington, on November 17, 1897, to John J. and Emma (Wagner) Trier. He spent his early life and was educated in Burlington. He was married on July 26, 1922, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Burlington, to the former Emily Krakofsky. Following their marriage they lived in Burlington. He a retired Locksmith and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Surviving are his wife, Emily; three daughters and sons-in-law, June and Elliot Beuthling of Burlington, Lynn and Wendall Kemp of Janesville, WI, Shirley and Ronald Bjork of Curtis, WI; ten grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by six sisters and two brothers. Funeral services will be held this (MONDAY) evening at 7:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. Pat Umberger officiating. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may this evening from 4:00 until 6:30 p.m. at McCARTHY-KOENIG, FUNERAL HOME, 101 E State St. Burlington.
