Mr. and Mrs. Francis H. Thall, S. 82nd St., have announced the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Joan Arc Thall, Denver, Col., to Richard Mitchell White, Jr., also of Denver. He Is the son of the senior Mr. and Mrs. White, Long Beach, Calif. Miss Thall received her bachelor's degree from Marquette university and her master's degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She Is affiliated with Delta Zeta and Gamma Pi. Her fiancé is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame. The couple plans to be married Aug. 3 at St. Thomas Catholic chapel at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
