Mrs. Rosemary LeClair Kaskie, 92, of Leesburg, Florida passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2015 in the Good Samaritan Hospice House in Wexford, Pa.
Mrs. Kaskie was born on February 25, 1923 in Denver, CO to the late Henry Paul and Emma Marie O'Brien LeClair, Sr.
She had graduated from College with an Associates Degree. She worked for the Smythe Cramer Realty agency in Cleveland, Ohio for 27 years as a real estate agent.
While living in Florida, Rosemary served as a Eucharistic Minister for her church. She also had taught English to immigrants through her local library's "Project Read" program.
She enjoyed painting, and was a life master bridge player.
Mrs. Kaskie is survived by her children, Michael (Karla) Rowe, Mother Magdalena Rowe, Kevin (Mary) Rowe, Meredeth Rowe, Melanie (Bob) Pennington, Stephen (Tarya) Rowe, Sheila (Walter) Milligan, Christopher (Julie) Rowe, and Martin (Mary Beth) Rowe, and her 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Dana Gilliland, her two brothers, Henry LeClair, Jr. and David LeClair, her first husband, Galen Evan Rowe, Jr., and her second husband, John Clark Kaskie.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 30, 2015 at the Orthodox Monastery of the Transfiguration, 321 Monastery Lane, Ellwood City, Pa 16117 from 2-4 pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am at the Holy Redeemer Church in Ellwood City. Interment will follow at the Orthodox Monastery of the Transfiguration Cemetery.
The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc.
Memorial donations in Mrs. Kaskie's name may be made to the St. Paul Catholic Church Eucharistic Ministry, 1330 Sunshine Ave., Leesburg, FL 34748, or to the Orthodox Monastery of the Transfiguration, 321 Monastery Ln, Ellwood City, Pa 16117.
