Mrs. Mae A. "Irish" Hansen, 87, of The Alverno, died Monday at Mercy Hospital.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Irenaeus Church with the Rev. James Lawrence officiating. Burial will be in St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Pape Funeral Home where a Christian wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Clarence "Pete" Smith, Virgil Buntemeyer, John Foley, LeRoy Buntemeyer, Robert Lowther and Ray C. Andersen.
Mrs. Hansen was born Jan. 21, 1893, in Clinton, the daughter of Edward and Winifred Keegan Breen. She married Arthur W. Hansen June 15, 1920, in Clinton. He died in 1946. She was a member of St. Irenaeus Church.
Survivors include two sons, Arthur E., of Elnora N.Y., and Thomas E., of Clinton; a daughter, Mrs. George (Betty) Pringle, of Albuquerque; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Harold of Marshalltown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a granddaughter, a sister and a brother.
