CHARLES C. BREEN
CLINTON
Charles C. Breen, 62, of 2931 Roosevelt St., died at 7:30 a.m. today in the Veterans Hospital in Iowa City. Funeral arrangements are pending.
Charles Breen was born Sept. 19, 1894. A native of Clinton he had also lived in Whitting, Ind., for 30 years. Following his retirement from Union Tank Co. there, he and his family returned to Clinton in 1954. He was married to Ruth Allison, May 10, 1922, in Clinton.
Surviving are his wife; on son, David Allison Breen, Clinton; two sisters, Mrs. Mae Hansen and Mrs. Theresa Engstrom and one brother, Harold Breen, all of Clinton, and several nieces and nephews.
A requiem high mass for Charles C. Breen, 61, of 2931 Roosevelt St., who died Friday, will be celebrated at 10 a. m. Monday in St. Irenaeus church. Rev. Edward F. Jackson will be the celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.
The body is at the Pape funeral home, where friends may call after 7:30 p. m. today.
