Harold L. Breen, 84, a resident of the Iowa Veterans Home, Marshalltown, died Sunday in the VA Hospital, Des Moines.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Irenaeus Catholic Church with the Rev. George Hoenig officiating. Burial will be in St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemtery. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Pape Funeral Home.
Mr. Breen was born July 29, 1900, in Clinton, to Edward and Winnifred Keegan Breen. He was a salesman in the wholesale grocery business, a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Army, a member of the Catholic faith and the American Legion.
Survivors include nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
