J. Leo Nolan, Cafe Owner, Dies at 56

 

J. Leo Nolan, 56, owner of Nolan's Golf Terrace Cafe and Bakery, 3926 W. Fiftieth street, Edina, died Sunday.

Mr. Nolan, who resided above the establishment, had been an Edina resident for 26 years. He was a member and an organizer of the Edina Businessmen's association, and belonged to the Knights of Columbus.

Surviving are his wife, Lucille; a son, John Leo. Jr.; his mother, Mrs. Hannah Nolan; two brothers, Ray and Thomas, Minneapolis, and sisters, Mary and Regina Nolan, San Francisco, Calif.; Mrs. William (Leone) Belanger and Mrs. Donald (Bernadine) Shannon, Minneapolis, and Mrs. Robert (Marjorie) Moeller, La Mesa, Calif.

Services will be 9 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Grace Catholic church in Edina.

A rosary service will be 8 p.m. today at the Gill Brothers south chapel, with burial at Cresco, Iowa.

The family prefers memorials to Our Lady of Grace church.
