PIONEER WOMAN DEAD.
Mrs. Frank Althoff to be Buried at New Munster Saturday Morning.
Mrs. Frank Althoff one of the pioneer residents of the western part of the county, died at her home west of New Munster on Tuesday evening, aged 60 years. Deceased was born in Westphalen, Germany, coming to Burlington with her parents when one year of age. She has resided in the town of Wheatland ever since. In 1869 she was united in marriage to Frank Althoff, who, with the following four children survive: Henry J., Mrs. Nick Barbian, Joseph, and Mrs. John Kersting, all of New Munster. The funeral services will be held from the St. Alphon's Catholic church Saturday morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. J. H. Schieffen officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
